Have some fun at the Westgate family run
Get fit and join in the fun at the Westgate Family race set to take place on Sunday, February 9.
The Roodepoort Athletics Club is calling on runners, fitness enthusiasts, and members of the community to join them for their upcoming Westgate family run set to take place on Sunday, February 9.
This fun-filled event promises to be an exciting morning of exercise, camaraderie and community spirit, accommodating anyone regardless of age or fitness level.
The race will start at 07:00, starting and ending at Westgate shopping centre entrance 2.
“We are thrilled to invite the community to join us for this event,” said Conrad de Buys, the chairperson of the Roodepoort Athletics Club.
“Join us for a challenging 5km or 10km walk/run. All finishers will receive a medal, goodie bag and T-shirts will be on sale. Prize money and spot prizes will be up for grabs.
“The fun will not stop when you cross the finish line! We have entertainment lined up after the run, so be sure to stick around and enjoy the festivities with your friends and family,” he says
