My crazy ex
We all have that one ex who has done something that we will never forget. For some people, that experience leaves wounds that run deep.
Below, two men share their experiences with women they’ve dubbed the craziest exes.
Denton, 39:
I met this girl a while back, nice girl, but I didn’t want a relationship from her. I made it clear to her. She agreed to us being friends with benefits but then she started to get clingy and wanted more than what I was willing to give her. She knew where I lived and kept going to my house when I wasn’t there, asking for me, and telling my landlady that she was my girlfriend. So I called her and told her to stop the madness and leave me alone. But this only seemed to fuel her fire as she started to park her car at my gate. I had always threatened to call the police on her and she didn’t take me seriously until one morning she blocked the driveway and blocked me in. She was out there saying that she didn’t understand why I couldn’t love her. At this point I knew she was crazy so I called the police on her. When they came they spoke with her and she moved her car so I could leave. After calling the police on her I moved and I haven’t heard from her since then.
Mark, 35:
There was this girl who I dated on and off — more off than on. One day she called me up, telling me how she wanted to see me. So I went to visit her. That day one thing led to another and we made love. A few weeks later she told me she was pregnant. I asked her how she knew and she said she just knew. I was surprised because I always used a condom and I didn’t recall it bursting. But I figured life happens so I told her I would be there for her, that I wasn’t going to leave her stranded. As time progressed, whenever I wanted to see her I couldn’t. All she wanted to do was send someone to collect the money and talk on the phone. She was living with her sister because she said she wasn’t handling the pregnancy well and I didn’t know where to find her. She wouldn’t give me any details or address so I stopped giving her my money. She should have been about five months along when she called me, cursing me out that I was just like all men. Can you imagine my shock when I saw her at the hospital one day after that, when a co-worker and I when to visit a friend of ours who had just had a baby. There was my self-proclaimed baby mother, with her baby she had the night before. When she saw me she couldn’t say a word. I walked over to her and told her that I didn’t know that women could have a full- term baby at five months. Then she started to explain some story to me, but I just told her to save her strength for the baby. She was trying to give me a child that she knew wasn’t mine. I washed my hands clean of her and her lies.
