I turned 18 just a few short days ago (hence the username ) So...a few short days ago, I was in a "serious relationship" with a 16 year old, and it was legal because i was still "underage" at 17. (I am 9 months older than her)

We (think) we are in love, and she is very mature for her age, so it's a little more than just physical...although she licks my pussy like a pro, and she is very open to us having an "open" sexual relationship.

Her parents are just a tad bit strict, but they like/liked me, and know that we were 'involved'. They are (or should I say WERE?) okay with it, but there was no P.D.A. around them between us.

Do I keep seeing her, telling her parents that we are "in love"? Go behind their back, and see her without them knowing. I don't think they know I am 18 now...

Or do I just leave her alone, and go find someone my own age to "be in love with"?

many states have consensual sex laws, in which 16 is in fact legal. i'm sure a quick google search could find the rules regarding age of consent in your state.

that's just the age you can officially give your consent. Since, if you were 16 and that was the consent age in this case, you'd still be considered a minor by law and thus you could still get statutory rape thrown around I believe if it's found some how that you wasn't mentally able to give consent, which some lawyers could manage to make it look that way.

Anyway, I personally say to the OP, just stay with it. You got in the relationship before you were 18. I think it's retarded to be forced apart just because of a microsecond happened. Well, there are some exceptions of course... If her parents like you, then I see no reason to worry about them.

 

you should be ok by the law in cali. it states that it is a misdemeanor to have intercourse witha minor three years or younger. you guys are still you. stay with her and have fun. hope this answer your question.

I'm sure you wouldn't be accused of a crime because you're not even a whole year older than her, and you were under age when you started. But I'm not sure what happened. Did you guys actually break up because of her parents?
There's one of 2 things you can do;
1. If you truly love her (in this case you wouldn't even be in question about the situation), you should keep seeing her exclusively.
2. If it's just a fling type of thing, then you can consider other relationships.

I don't mean to offend you, but the fact that you don't really know what to do may show exactly how "strong" your feelings are for her.

 

The laws regarding age of consent seem really fooked up in America :S What happens if you both live in different states?

Edit: to answer original question, just keep doing what you were doing. The parents were happy before, both of you were happy before. It seems kinda unlikely anyone's gonna be calling the cops, and I don't see what else could go wrong.
